- Activating your account
It's easy to activate your online Puffin Post account and start enjoying the amazing Puffin Island section of the website. On the Activate Subscription page, just enter your membership number and full name, click Activate and you'll be prompted to create a username and password. Then you're ready to go! Your membership number can be found on the back of your pink membership book and on the address label on the magazines; if you are having difficulty finding it, please call customer services on 0845 606 4261.
- Your username
When you activate your account, you'll be asked to provide a username. This can be a nickname, a version of your own name or a name connected to one of your hobbies or interests e.g. Booklover20. Your username will mean you can log in quickly whenever you want to visit Puffin Island.
- Changing your details
You can change your username or update any of your details at any time by logging in to the Your Account section of the website. To change your email details, username or password just enter your new details and click the submit button.
- Your newsletters
You can decide here if you would like to receive our newsletters which will keep you up to date with all the new competitions, author features and games on Puffin Island, let you know when each new magazine is on its way and remind you to claim your free books. You can choose to unsubscribe at any time, and we never share your details with anyone else. You can read about how we store and use your details in our Privacy Policy.
- Password help
Your password needs to be easy for you to remember, but not easy for someone else to guess. A good way to do this is to choose a word and replace one or more letters with numbers - so Password could become Pa55w0rd. If you think someone else knows your password, you can change your password in Your Account.

- Monitoring your free book orders
Every free book order you place with Puffin Post will be displayed on this page, including those placed by phone or post. You can track orders you have made by logging in to Your Account and clicking on the order tracking link.
If your free book order is overdue and the order tracking service doesn't state that the order has been despatched, please contact customer services on 0845 606 4216 who will be happy to trace your order for you.
- Problems with your account
If you receive an error message or are unable to log in to your account for any reason, please call customer services on 0845 606 4261 and they will be happy to help resolve the issue.
