Puffin Island
- Using the message board
The Clifftop Chat message board is designed to be a place where children can chat away to their heart's content about books, school, parents, friends, pets, or anything that comes to mind.
All messages are checked by Puffin Post HQ before they are published, and anything rude, unpleasant or inappropriate will not be approved and will not be posted onto the message board. We also do not allow the posting of any detailed personal information, like your address or email address.
Users must agree to the following guidelines to take part in Clifftop Chat:
Be Polite: Messages containing anything insulting or unpleasant will not appear on the message board. Please don't deliberately annoy other users.
Be Safe: Never give out your full name, address, phone number or any other personal details to anyone when you're online. Don't agree to meet up with anyone you have met on the internet unless a parent or guardian goes with you. Don't call someone you have met online on the phone - you don't want to accidentally give out your phone number. Don't use your full name to make postings or write your email address in a message. Use your imagination and come up with a cool username to write under!
Be Honest: Don't pretend to be someone you're not. This message board is for under-16s only.
Protect your password: Never tell anyone your password. Try and make it something easy for you to remember but hard for anyone else to work out, and if you do need to write it down, keep it safe.
If you are experiencing any problems using the Puffin Post message board, please email pteam@puffinpost.co.uk
